The energy assessment (the only part of the HIP that requires attendance at the property) carried out by a local, independent,  accredited, fully insured assessor who you can speak to anytime

Our accredited and fully insured Domestic Energy Assessors  are  available to implement the Home Information Pack and carry out the Energy Performance Certificate element within 3 days, at your convenience, then we’ll have you “legal to market” your property within 24 hours.
 Turnaround times are guaranteed and should there ever be any queries they will be handled personally with you and with full attention.  You will know exactly who is visiting the property. We will keep our appointments,  usually done by appointment times to suit you.

We operate across all of Essex, from Clacton to Southend and across to Ilford, including all the towns within the Essex boundary.  We are centrally based in Chelmsford.

 We aim to survey a property and provide the HIP pack,  including the EPC within 5 working days from the date of the inspection, which will help ensure a swift completion of the HIP. We carry both Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance cover to a limit of £1 million.

 

Who Are Our Clients?
Home Owners any person selling his home can decide to produce the HIP himself, rather than pay for companies to do this. But it is still a legal requirement for the EPC to be produced by a qualified and accredited DEA/HI. For many home owners, this can prove to be the least expensive method.
Quite simply – anyone who needs a HIP pack, an EPC (or a Home Condition Report).

Landlords from 1st October, 2008, all lettings will require a EPC. However, if a let property is sold, or extensively modified, it will require a new EPC at that time.


Extending/refurbishing properties although a HIP is not required, any extension or refurbishment above 25% of area, or value is expected to require an EPC from 1st January, 2008. Only qualified and accredited DEA/HI can provide this.
